On February 11, 2025, Mahindra Finance had arranged a “CSR Partners Meet.” Among 15 CSR partners of Mahindra Finance ,from across India, Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal was honored with “Best CSR Implementation Partner for the year 2025” award for the second consecutive year.

While we have crafted our future work frame, work encompassing conservation and management of Triple Natural Resources JAL_JAMIN_JUNGLE vital for a sustainable living of JEEV and JAN, it has to start with facilitating the increase in surface water storage and groundwater recharge in rural water scarcity areas.

Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal

Born out of passion & concern of founder Shri. Anand Bhagwat (Age 90) for Villagers of Murbad- Shahapur District Villagers starve for water after October every year
- Dependency only on rain fed crops for livelihood
- Migration outside for poor paid jobs
- Women & children travel far off to fetch daily water
All this is in spite of receiving 2500 mm+ yearly rain fall, that is double than the nearest metropolitan, Mumbai. Surrounding region houses large water bodies which supply water for 5 cities including Mumbai & 13 MIDC areas for many decades. Clear need to address the issue urgently was felt.

ठाणे जिल्ह्यातील मुरबाड तालुक्यातील खेवारे गावातील प्रकल्प
ठाणे शहरातील वसुंधरा संजीवनी मंडळ, जिल्हा प्रशासन आणि सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व निधीतून साकारलेला हा प्रकल्प अतिशय पथदर्शी प्रकल्प आहे. ५० लाख लीटर पाणी क्षमता असलेल्या या पाझर तलावतील पाणी या नवीन टेक्नॉलॉजीद्वारे गुरुत्वाकर्षण शक्तीने वर चढवून त्यानंतर ते शेतीसाठी सोडण्यात येणार आहे. यासाठी २० शेततळी आणि ५ लहान टाक्या तयार करण्यात आल्या असून या माध्यमातून आजूबाजूच्या भागातील १०० एकर जमीन ठिबक सिंचन पद्धतीचा अवलंब करून ओलिताखाली आणली जाणार आहे.
