Ganganwadi -3

Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal successfully implemented an impactful water conservation project at Ganganwadi-3, Taluka Shahapur, addressing the growing need for reliable water resources for the village community. Completed in 2025, the project was designed to enhance groundwater levels, secure year-round water availability, and support both agricultural and domestic needs.

With the construction of a scientifically planned storage structure, the project now holds an impressive 1,32,00,000 litres of water. This major achievement ensures sustained water supply across seasons and reduces the dependence on inconsistent monsoon rains. Spanning a cultivation area of 50 acres, the conserved water will significantly benefit local farmers by improving crop yield, soil moisture, and agricultural resilience.

The project was completed at a total cost of ₹5.62 lakhs, generously financed by Rekhi, whose support made this initiative possible. Beyond agriculture, the stored water will also serve crucial domestic needs and cattle, bringing relief to the entire community and ensuring better quality of life.

This initiative stands as a step towards sustainable rural development, empowering Ganganwadi-3 with long-term water security.
