High School Chariv, Shahapur

In July 2024, Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal (VSM) successfully completed a Rain Water Harvesting project at High School, Chariv, Shahapur, as part of its ongoing mission to address water scarcity in rural and semi-urban areas. This initiative now saves an estimated 4,83,750 liters of water annually, making a significant contribution to water conservation in the region. The project directly benefits around 100 students and staff members of the school by ensuring reliable water availability throughout the year.

Sponsored entirely by VSM, the project showcases the organization’s commitment to creating sustainable environmental solutions at the grassroots level. Although the expenditure details have not been disclosed, the impact of the completed project is clearly visible in the improved access to water and increased awareness about rainwater harvesting among the school community. By integrating conservation with education, this project stands as a model of eco-conscious development and community well-being.
