The Musai Wadi Check Dam, located in the Shahapur region, stands as a testament to sustainable water management. With a total water storage capacity of 76,230,000 liters, the dam has significantly contributed to improving the water availability in the surrounding areas. This project, sponsored by Rotary Kandivli, aims to address the water scarcity challenges faced by local farmers and communities. The dam’s strategic location ensures that the stored water will support agricultural activities, irrigation, and daily water needs for the people in the area.

The project’s construction was completed in May 2024, and it was funded with a budget of 6.62 lakhs.
