Sahyadri Vidyamandir Tembhurli, Shahapur

In July 2025, Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal proudly completed a significant Rainwater Harvesting project at Sahyadri Vidyamandir, Tembhurli in Shahapur Taluka. Sponsored by Mahindra Finance, this initiative was aimed at promoting sustainable water management and addressing water scarcity in the region. The system is designed to harvest and conserve approximately 5,17,500 litres of rainwater annually, making a substantial contribution to groundwater recharge and sustainable water access for the school and surrounding areas.

The project was implemented with a total expenditure of ₹3,84,090, and today it benefits 128 individuals, including students, staff, and nearby community members. With the project now successfully completed, it stands as a model of effective corporate-social partnership, community upliftment, and environmental responsibility. Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal remains committed to replicating such impactful models in other rural and tribal regions.
