In the picturesque village of Talawali-1, situated in Murbad, a pivotal initiative has transformed the agricultural landscape and enhanced community resilience through the implementation of a Check dam project. Completed in the year 2016-2017, this project, sponsored by the Rotary Club Thane with a budget of 2.9 Lacs, has not only conserved a commendable 6.75 Lac Litres of water but has also revitalized agriculture across 10 acres of land, securing a sustainable water source for domestic use and cattle.
