In July 2025, Vasundhara Sanjivani Mandal successfully completed a Rainwater Harvesting project at Zilla Parishad School, Musai, Shahapur, marking a significant step toward water sustainability in rural Maharashtra. Sponsored by Mahindra Finance, this impactful initiative was executed with a total expenditure of ₹4,19,785, resulting in the conservation of a substantial 7,42,500 litres of water annually. The project now directly benefits 46 individuals, including students, teachers, and local villagers, by ensuring year-round water availability and reducing dependency on external sources.
With the system fully operational and its status marked as completed, this project is not just a functional model of water conservation but also a beacon of community-driven environmental stewardship. The success of this project reflects the shared commitment of corporate sponsors, NGOs, and local communities toward building a sustainable and water-secure future.
