Z. P. School Parhe
A Rain Water Harvesting project was implemented at Z. P. School Parhe to address local water scarcity and promote sustainable water management practices. The project aimed to collect and store rainwater effectively, helping to recharge the groundwater and improve water availability for the community.
This initiative was generously supported by Trafigura and was completed in February 2025, with a total expenditure of ₹2,76,250. The installed system has the capacity to harvest approximately 2,70,000 litres of rainwater annually, contributing to a healthier water table and ensuring a reliable water supply for the residents.
The project benefits 50 Students in the surrounding area, making a significant difference in their daily lives by providing improved access to water resources. The active participation of the community, along with the support of Trafigura, was instrumental in the successful completion of this initiative.
With its completed status, the Rain Water Harvesting system at Z. P. School Parhe stands as a testament to the power of sustainable solutions and collaborative efforts in improving rural water security and fostering environmental stewardship.
