A Rain Water Harvesting project was successfully implemented at Z. P. School Savroli So. to address the pressing need for sustainable water conservation in the area. This initiative has made a significant contribution towards preserving groundwater and ensuring the availability of water for the local community.

The project, sponsored by Trafigura, was completed in May 2024 with a total expenditure of ₹5,22,850. Thanks to the collective effort and meticulous planning, the system is now fully operational and has the capacity to save approximately 10,12,500 litres of water annually. This harvested water is effectively used to recharge the groundwater table, benefiting the environment as well as the residents of the area.

The project directly benefits 141 households, ensuring access to water resources and promoting water security in the region. The support from Trafigura and the active participation of the local community played a vital role in the successful completion of this project.

The status of the project is completed, and it now stands as a model of sustainable development and a step forward towards water conservation and community resilience.
